A different route into teaching
Build your future in education
Whether you’re starting your career, developing your skills or looking to take the next step, an apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to learn, gain real experience and achieve a recognised qualification while you work.
Our Teacher Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with George Spencer SCITT, is a salaried route into teaching, leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within one year.
As a Teacher Apprentice, you’ll be employed by a school, gain real classroom experience and receive high-quality training, combining hands-on learning with the opportunity to study for your teaching qualifications.
- Throughout your training, we place a strong emphasis on trainee wellbeing, with additional support from trained professionals available when needed.
What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You are an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave.
You’ll work in a school, develop the right skills and knowledge for your career, and study for your teaching qualifications. At the end of the apprenticeship, you’ll gain official certification equivalent to traditional qualifications, with the ambition that you remain with the employer and continue to flourish within the organisation.
